- Purpose of Youth service and Talent Showcase
- 青少年服務與才藝展示的目的
- To provide a national platform to encourage youth to share what they are passionate about, to build confidence, to encourage future engagement and serving communities, to continue pursuing passion, to inspire and be inspired with other participating youths.
- 為青少年提供一個國家級的舞台，使他們得以分享擅長的才藝，以建立自信心，鼓勵其未來更多參與和服務自己所在的社群，繼續熱情地追求。在同儕之間互相正面影響。
- 1. Participants: high school and college Chinese American students and their friends, individual or group projects. Presenters must be present for the projects.
- 參加者：華裔美籍高中或大學學生和他們的朋友，個人或團體報名皆可。表演者必須出席其表演項目。
- 2. Showcase Categories:
- 展示項目類別：
- A. Service projects: tutoring, mission trips, service trips, and others, especially those having impact to local community and sustainability.
- 服務類：家教、宣教、服務之旅及其他，特別是對其所在社群有重大影響和持續性的服務。
- B. Performing groups: band, instrumental music individuals or groups, dance and acapella groups, etc.
- 表演類：樂團、個人或團體之樂器演奏、舞蹈和人聲合唱，等等。
- C.Arts: drawing other creative forms of art demonstration.
- 藝術類：繪畫或其他創意形式的藝術展示。
- D.Social entrepreneurships projects.
- 社會企業項目
- E. Science and innovations demonstrations and projects.

- 2. Locations 地點:
- A. Poster, art, science/innovation presentations: Convention hallways or convention room.
- 海報、藝術、科學/創新 展示：會議中心走廊或會議室
- B. Live Music groups: before various sessions (general and plenary session), or pre-meals.

- 3. Time Saturday, Sept 10 throughout the day.

- 4. Equipment tables will be provided for poster presentations (traditional and digital), a grand piano available for performing groups at one area.
- 器材:海報展示（傳統海報或電子版）攤位將有桌子提供；一架平台式演奏鋼琴將會提供給表演團體。
- 5. Awards one award will be chosen by the convention youth program committee and UCA leadership to receive “UCA 2016 Convention Outstanding Youth Showcase Award”, certificate and cash awards of $500 for each group
- 獎勵:大會青年專案委員會和美國華人全國委員會領袖們將選出一位優勝者，獲得“2016美國華人大會傑出青年表演獎“，每位頒發獎狀和現金獎$500元。
- 6. Audiences distinguished guests and convention speakers of national renown, other convention participants consisting of elected and formerly elected officials of Chinese descent, community leaders, business leaders, parents, academics, scientists, students and parents, and young professionals.
- 觀眾:特邀嘉賓、國家級知名大會講員、包含政府代表、社區領袖、商界名流、父母、學術大師、科學家、學生和青年專家在內的其他與會者。
- Special youth/parent/chaperone registration rate

- 1. $100 for student /parent /adult chaperon: Saturday Sept 10
- 若您是學生/父母/成人之伴侶，只參加九月十日星期六議程：$100
- 2. $195 for student for the whole convention, Sept 8-10
- 若您是學生，三天會議特別價：$195
- 3. Regular price for parents who attend the whole convention: $365 before 8/8/16, and $425 after 8/9/16.
- 若您是父母，三天會議標準價：八月八日之前註冊是$365；八月九日以後註冊一律為$425
- The Price listed covers all meals and coffee breaks on the day you registered for. There is no dinner set by convention on Saturday.
- 以上價格包含當天所有餐飲費用以及coffee break的費用，週六不設晚餐
