Ren Li received her MBA degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000 and worked for 14 years at a top marketing research company based in Chicago. Before that, she earned her MA degree in English Literature focusing on teaching pedagogy from Wuhan University in 1996 and her BA in English from Capital Normal University in 1990.
