Jessie Li, Youth Ambassador, UCA WAVES Coordinator, is a graduate from the University of British Columbia. This fall, she will begin her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Adler University. She currently resides in Vancouver, Canada. Jessie has been a UCA member since 2018, and a part of UCA WAVES since May 2021.

Jessie is passionate about promoting mental health literacy and reducing mental health stigma. As a Chinese-Canadian, Jessie aims to support AAPI communities. She also strives to support other marginalized groups as an active ally, and continuously advocates for the importance of intersectionality within mental health work. Through her work with the UCA WAVES team, Jessie hopes to build a supportive community for people to share their stories, build new connections, and foster resiliency.
