Curriculum Advocacy – Minnesota

On Feb.14, 2022, Minnesota State Representative Cedrick Frazier  introduced House Bill HF3434 creating a State Ethnic Studies requirement and an Ethnic Studies Task Force. It currently has 9 sponsors in the 134-seat State House. A companion Senate Bill SF3557 was introduced by Senator Mary Kunesh on Feb.28, 2022. It currently has 5 sponsors in the 67-seat Senate.
