Curriculum Advocacy – Arizona

on January 27, 2022, Arizona State Representative Jennifer Pawlik (D-17) introduced House Bill 2638 to appropriate funds to the Education Department to teach AAPI History, and House Bill 2639 for the state to officially observe the month of May as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Currently both bills have 15 House supporters, out of a total of 60 representatives.
