Operations Director or Manager

Responsibilities:

This is a full- or part-time position (if part time, approximately 20 hours a week) responsible for the daily operations of UCA. Preferably based in the Greater Washington D.C. area.

  1. Manage the DC headquarters when a paid office manager is not available
  2. Coordinate programs and work with UCA chapters and partner organizations
  3. Prepare and sometimes help host Board meetings, executive team meetings, and other meetings
  4. Manage and execute UCA major initiatives, programs, projects, and conventions
  5. Perform other tasks or special projects as requested by the President
Qualifications
  1. Strong administrative and organizational skills
  2. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines
  3. Strong attention to details
  4. Basic knowledge about bookkeeping and accounting
  5. Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead, strong interpersonal skills, and a passionate team player
Knowledge and Skills

Microsoft 365 or similar applications; knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounting principles; bilingual (Chinese and English) required
