Americans\uff0c\u7b80\u79f0UCA\uff09\u8d1f\u8d23\u4eba\u859b\u6d77\u57f9\u5148\u751f\u5e94\u9080\u51fa\u5e2d\u6b64\u6b21\u4f1a\u8bae\uff0c\u53d1\u51fa\u4e86\u6765\u81ea\u534e\u88d4\u793e\u533a\u7684\u652f\u6301\u547c\u58f0\uff0c\u5e76\u5411\u5927\u4f1a\u5448\u9001\u6765\u81ea128\u4e2a\u534e\u4eba\u793e\u56e2\u7b7e\u540d\u7684\u8054\u5408\u58f0\u63f4\u4fe1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;2\u670822\u65e5\uff0c\u582a\u8428\u65af\u5dde\u4e00\u540d\u5370\u5ea6\u5de5\u7a0b\u5e08\u88ab\u67aa\u6740\uff0c\u53e6\u6709\u4e00\u540d\u5370\u5ea6\u4eba\u548c\u4e00\u540d\u8bd5\u56fe\u89e3\u6551\u7684\u7f8e\u56fd\u4eba\u4e5f\u5f53\u573a\u53d7\u4f24\u30023\u67083\u65e5\uff0c\u53c8\u4e00\u540d\u5370\u5ea6\u88d4\u9521\u514b\u6559\u7f8e\u56fd\u4eba\u5728\u897f\u96c5\u56fe\u90ca\u533a\u906d\u4e00\u8499\u9762\u7537\u5b50\u5f00\u67aa\u5c04\u4f24\u3002\u800c\u8fd9\u4e24\u8d77\u6848\u4ef6\u4e2d\u7684\u5f00\u67aa\u7537\u5b50\u90fd\u5728\u67aa\u51fb\u524d\u9ad8\u558a\uff1a\u201cGet&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;country!\u201d(\u6eda\u51fa\u6211\u7684\u56fd\u5bb6\uff09\u3002 POSSIBLE HATE CRIMES COMMITTED IN OLATHE, KS and KENT, WA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>While the Kansas shooting on February 22nd is still under investigation as a possible hate crime against two immigrants from India, we are shocked to learn another Indian was shot at his own driveway after being told &#8220;Go back to your own country&#8221; by a gunman in Kent, WA on March 3rd.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chinese communities across the country express our deepest condolences to Srinivas Kuchibhotla and his family, and our sympathy to Alok Madasani and the victim in Kent for the violent crimes committed against them. We also praise Ian Grillotan, a true American hero, who was wounded when risking his life to apprehend the gunman in the Kansas shooting.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>These shootings remind Chinese Americans of the bitter memories of the 1982 killing of Vincent Jen Chin in the suburb of Detroit. Chin was mistaken for Japanese and was beaten to death by a Chrysler plant superintendent and his stepson. The killers were convicted of manslaughter through plea bargain, and served no jail time, with 3 year probation and $3,000 fine and were cleared of all federal civil rights charges.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facing the increasing racial tension, hostility, and senseless killings of Asian Americans and other minorities, we support the call by the South Asian Americans for full investigation of possible hate crimes committed in these shootings. We also urge the federal and local authorities to condemn all hate crimes committed across the country.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We, Chinese Americans, shall stand in solidarity as always with all Asian Americans.
