<\/figure>\n\n\n\n\u5019\u9009\u4eba\u7684\u8138\u4e0a\u88ab\u76d6\u4e0a\u201c\u9a71\u9010\u51fa\u5883\u201d\uff08\u201cDEPORT\u201d\uff09\u7684\u6233\u5370\uff0c\u8d6b\u7136\u5217\u7740\u8bf8\u5982\u201c\u534e\u4eba\u7684\u5b66\u6821\uff01\u5370\u5ea6\u4eba\u7684\u5b66\u6821\uff01\u6211\u4eec\u53d7\u591f\u4e86\uff01\uff01\u201d\uff0c\u201c\u963b\u6b62\u90a3\u4e9b\u5916\u6765\u4f6c\uff01\u201d\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u201c\u8ba9\u6211\u4eec\u593a\u56de\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7231\u8fea\u751f\uff01\u201d\u7b49\u53e3\u53f7\u2026\u2026\u8fd9\u4e00\u53ef\u803b\u7684\u884c\u5f84\u9707\u60ca\u4e86\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u534e\u88d4\u3001\u5370\u5ea6\u88d4\u53ca\u5176\u4ed6\u793e\u533a\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u4e3a\u8fd9\u8d64\u88f8\u88f8\u7684\u84c4\u610f\u6027\u79cd\u65cf\u6b67\u89c6\uff0c\u53ca\u5176\u4e0d\u53ef\u63a5\u53d7\u7684\u717d\u52a8\u6027\u8bed\u8a00\u800c\u6124\u6168\u4e0d\u5df2\u3002
\u5982\u6b64\u5145\u6ee1\u4ec7\u89c6\u53ca\u79cd\u65cf\u4e3b\u4e49\u7684\u8a00\u8bba\uff0c\u5728\u5f53\u4eca\u7684\u7f8e\u56fd\u6ca1\u6709\u7acb\u8db3\u4e4b\u5730\u3002\u5b83\u53ea\u4f1a\u5728\u4eba\u4eec\u4e4b\u95f4\u4f20\u64ad\u9694\u9602\u4e0e\u5206\u88c2\u3001\u4ec7\u6068\u4e0e\u6b67\u89c6\uff0c\u5728\u4e0d\u540c\u65cf\u7fa4\u793e\u533a\u4e4b\u95f4\u6311\u62e8\u5bf9\u7acb\u3002\u8fd9\u5bf9\u5168\u7f8e\u5404\u5730\u7684\u5c11\u6570\u65cf\u88d4\u5019\u9009\u4eba\u90fd\u4f1a\u9020\u6210\u4e00\u79cd\u4ee4\u4eba\u4e0d\u5bd2\u800c\u6817\u7684\u5a01\u80c1\u6027\u6c1b\u56f4\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unnamed and unsigned postcards with explicit and hateful racist remarks showed up in many households’ mailboxes in the winding days of a middle New Jersey school board election, targeting a Chinese American and an Indian American candidate.
With words \u201cDEPORT\u201d flashed cross the candidates\u2019 face, and with bullet points like \u201cChinese School! Indian School! Enough is Enough!!”, “Stop the Outsiders!” and “Let\u2019s take back our Edison!”, this coward act has shocked and angered the local Chinese American, Indian American and other communities for its glaring racist intent and unacceptable inflammatory language.
Such hateful and racist remarks have no place in America today. It sows only divide, hatred and discrimination among peoples, pitting one community against another. And it created a chilling and intimidating effect for minority candidates across the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To make sure the integrity of American election process is protected, and as a nationwide Chinese American federation, UCA calls on Justice Department, Federal Election Commission and state authorities of New Jersey to immediately open an investigation into this troubling racist campaign tactic against minority candidates, while providing a fair and civic environment for the election process to be carried out in a fair and non-intimidated manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
